Because not being fully there yet is kind of the whole point.

Most of us spend waste most of our waking hours obsessing over some outcome we are trying to achieve. Sometimes, these are deeper pursuits — finding more fulfillment in life, overcoming underlying sources of anxiety, or developing more connection with the world around us. Other times, these are tangible outcomes we are trying to reach — a career change, finding a new home or getting out of a relationship that’s no longer serving us.

Whatever it may be, there is nothing inherently wrong with pursuing things that mean something to you — as long as you can do so with the realization that you will never be fully there.

Because us — our life — this very human experience — it’s all a work in progress. And that’s okay. Softening into the realization that we aren’t supposed to be fully there yet — and that we may never be — is kind of the whole point. It’s the here and now — the present moment — even when it’s filled with anxiety or stress or uncertainty — where the real magic is happening. Loosening your grip over the outcome and starting to grow through more of the journey to get there, can start to change everything.

About me

The basics — I’m Jake. I love getting lost in music, being in the quiet of nature, cooking food for my family and being a girl dad of 2. I’m an old soul and so I often feel nostalgic about the past. I love to create and share things I am passionate about.

Now the deeper stuff — I’ve always been searching for more meaning. More purpose. More connection. I have a bright light inside that I so deeply want to share with the world, but also some very real blocks that have prevented me from doing so. That’s caused a lot of friction for me along the years.

I’ve experienced some really high highs and also have been through some really low lows.

Along my journey to become more aligned to the truth of who I really am, I’ve done a lot of self-work. I’ve experienced different modalities of healing and growth — from spiritual exploration to somatic therapy to plant medicines, and along the journey, I’ve learned a lot about myself and the opportunities we have to grow and evolve through some of life’s toughest moments.

I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned in the hopes of helping you shed the layers that are no longer serving you and step into a life that feels more colorful, energized and authentically aligned.

I’d love to hear from you so please feel free to drop a line.

With Love, JK
